Ness Software Product Labs appoints Paul Lombardo as UK Director
ess Technologies has appointed Paul Lombardo as European director of its Software Product Labs

11th January 2009 - Global IT services provider Ness Technologies (NASDAQ:NSTC and TASE: NSTC) has appointed Paul Lombardo as European director of its Software Product Labs division. Paul will be responsible for the delivery of Ness’s services in the UK and Western Europe and for growing the business in the region. Ness Software Product Labs provides globally sourced software engineering services across the entire product development life cycle, working not only with software companies but also with organisations which build and rely on software products to generate revenue.

Paul has extensive experience of global business. Originally from the US, he comes to Ness from Indian early-stage IT services company KTwo, for whom he was head of sales.  Prior to this, Paul ran the sales, consulting and client services division of Mphasis, a subsidiary of IT services giant EDS and now part of HP. Paul has also worked in the former Soviet Union, where he helped small businesses to develop their planning, finance, sales and marketing functions as they adapted to a rapidly changing economy.

“Leading the development of Ness Software Product Labs in Europe is a unique and exciting opportunity,” commented Paul Lombardo. “True expertise in the software industry is hard to find, and Ness’s collaborative global software engineering model is proving very effective at bringing highly skilled teams together for its customers, regardless of international barriers.”

“Paul has exactly the right combination of industry experience and entrepreneurial flair to take the business forward,” said Holly Ripley-Boyd, President of Ness Software Product Labs.  “He is the right person to maximise the value we provide for our customers while driving the growth of the global software engineering business.”
