Commidea have been shortlisted for the category of Technology vendor of the year at the 2010 Retail Systems Awards.
Now into their fifth year, the Awards look to recognise excellence and innovation in the field of information technology within the UK retail sector. The primary criteria for judging are the delivery of definable and significant business benefits, innovation and originality of application, ROI and project management issues such as delivery on time and within budget.
The Technology vendor of the year award will recognise a UK technology vendor who has excelled in its field, implementing innovative technology into retail organisations during the past year. Judges will be looking for evidence of how the deployment of the company’s technology has led to an improvement in the overall efficiency of a retailer’s operations.

Commidea wins VeriFone’s 2010 Value Added Reseller of the Year award
LONDON, 2ndAugust 2010 – Commidea, the card payment solution provider has won VeriFone’s 2010 Value Added Reseller of the Year award. Mark Roberts at VeriFone presented Commidea with the award at the annual VeriFone Partner Conference on 23rdJune 2010. The award was won after eight years of Commidea working closely with VeriFone in the UK market. It recognises the high level of business the partnership has secured over the years and successes they have shared. In the past year Commidea and VeriFone have signed in excess of 6,000 new customers.
